Woodlawn ES to celebrate African American History Month also referred to as Black History Month.

January is National Mentoring Month. At Woodlawn, about 25 staff members volunteer their time each week to meet with an assigned student mentee.

Mr. Dunlevy’s 3rd grade and Ms. Summers' 5th grade classes participated in a marble run challenge using Keva Planks. They were using math to count the planks and determine how steep the slope would be to give the marble more kinetic energy and make it to the end.
