Mrs. Mondragon is a native Texan and has lived on the East Coast since 2002 and considers Northern Virginia home. 

She is an experienced Assistant Principal and Special Educator with over fifteen years of experience in diverse schools and school systems. Her expertise in special education includes early childhood, elementary and high school students, inclusive, and self-contained settings. She is certified in Elementary Education PreK-6, Administration and Supervision, Emotional Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and Specific Learning Disabilities. 

Additionally, she has provided leadership in grade level and school wide leadership including three years as the Assistant Principal of Mount Vernon Community School in the Alexandria City Public Schools.

During her time off, Mrs. Mondragon loves watching sporting events, baking and planning family vacations.
