Mr. James Stubbs, from The Garden Plot, spent the afternoon with Ms. Jefferson’s first grade class teaching students about the parts of plants, why we grow fruits and vegetables, compost, and what plants need to survive. We all enjoyed planting our own seeds outside in our school’s garden. We can’t wait to see our seeds sprout!
