On February 15th, 7 Woodlawn strings students performed in the Mount Vernon Pyramid Concert as members of the Mount Vernon Area Orchestra (MVAO). The MVAO was made up of over 60 elementary strings students from the Mount Vernon feeder elementary schools. These students met weekly for a total of seven rehearsals, culminating in the performance. Students got to make connections with students from other schools, as well as the Middle School and High School orchestra directors.
