PreK kids got some caterpillars from insectlore.com.  The caterpillars were very tiny, but they ate a lot and got fat.  Then they hung upside down and formed a chrysalis around their bodies.  The PreK kids waited a long time and 6 caterpillars came out!  Finally, the students let them go on a sunny day so they could drink nectar from flowers and lay eggs of their own to start the life cycle all over again!
