Woodlawn first graders learned and watched how to put up a tent and then got to go inside and play for a few minutes.  In our UFLI curriculum there are several decodable readers that are about tents or camping.  We took a poll in our Walk to Reading intervention block and found out that not many students had experience with a tent yet.  So, we brought reading to life during recess!
