It has been a gift to come back and teach in the same school I grew up in and share the Woodlawn experience with my own children. I owe my love of teaching and reading to my fourth grade teacher; Mrs. Miller (it was in her class here at Woodlawn that I decided I wanted to be a teacher), to my own four children and to the countless students I have been so lucky and blessed to have learn beside and grow with on this journey. The classroom is always my second home.
