ESOL Spring Family Curriculum Night 2023

On April 25^th, we held our first ESOL Curriculum Night and it was filled with excitement, information, and smiles! Students showed their families the activities and projects they’ve been working on related to Knowledge Building topics and read Knowledge Building books with them. Families of recently arrived ELs learned more about what their students are doing to learn English and 3^rd-6^th grade families were given information about SOL testing. We even had an extra special surprise for families when we displayed the art that was entered into the Region 3 Art Show! Everyone agreed the event was a great success and we can’t wait to hold more next year!
